4th Annual Donor & Volunteer
Appreciation Luncheon
Wednesday, May 12
In May the Salvation Army celebrates its 56th annual National Salvation Army Week. First established by President Eisenhower in 1954, this week is dedicated to saying thank you to the millions of volunteers and financial supporters of The Salvation Army for all we do together and all we hope to do for people in need in over 5000 local communities across the United States.
The Salt Lake Salvation Army will hold the Fourth Annual “Doing the Most Good” Donor and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, May 12 at the Church Office Building 26th Floor, 50 E. North Temple, Salt Lake City from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The luncheon provides The Salvation Army an opportunity to recognize and show appreciation to the many individuals, corporations and service organizations that volunteer, provide financial assistance and partner with The Salvation Army. “It is through the continued support of our community donors and volunteers that make it possible for the Army to continue to provide services to the less fortunate in our community”, said Major Richard Greene, The Salt Lake Salvation Army Area Coordinator.
