Rocky Mountain Congress Update #8 – Wednesday, April 21, 2010 

Saddle up for the Rocky Mountain Congress childcare where kids will be ridin’ the range and roundin’ up questions like, “What is God’s plan for me?” and “How can I be like Jesus?”.  At the end of the weekend, they’ll discover God’s Word has all the answers!  The curriculum is based on James 1:5 “Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.” Our motto: Need Answers? Ask God!  Children will have the opportunity for Arts & Crafts, Music, Games, Snacks, Videos, Lessons, Coloring, Drawing, and much more. 

The lessons that will be taught will be based on the Vacation Bible School’s “Saddle Ridge Ranch.”  This will be an exciting time of learning for the children.   

 Childcare will be provided for the main meetings and rallies.  The groups for the childcare are ages: 0-2, 3-5,  6-9, and 10-12.  All the staff that will be working with the childcare are trained & certified to work with children. Children will be required to be dropped off and picked up by the adult they register with.

Special Guest – Seth Franco, Harlem Globetrotters

Seth Franco has played for The Court Jesters, The Harlem Wizards, and in 2003 became the first Caucasian Harlem Globetrotter since 1942!  Seth now travels using his unique basketball routine as a platform to share the love of Jesus with others.  He will keep you on the edge of your seat as he demonstrates his basketball skills and tricks while telling his story and bringing his Christian testimony.
