Do you want to help make a difference for those in need in the Salt Lake area? Volunteers play a vital role for the success of our program and services at The Salvation Army. It may be a day of working in the thrift Store sorting clothes or straightening shelves, preparing sandwiches for dinner at the Community Dining room or even packing food boxes for clients at Family Services all volunteers are appreciated and needed daily throughout the year. Volunteers are needed once a week for help with lawn and landscaping at our office on 252 South 500 East.
Also beginning September 27 we have need for help with The KUTV 2NEWS/Salvation Army ANGEL TREE PROGRAM as well at the RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN. Various days and times with tasks that include: answering phones, helping take applications, warehouse set-up, gift organization, data entry clerks. The RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN is looking for groups, individuals, service organizations and businesses that would like to Bell Ring at a Kettle location, or deliver kettles to local business locations.
